With the fifth generation of Honda City, the base variant starts at Rs 13.20 lakh. The V Petrol variant costs Rs 13.20 lakh, the V CVT Petrol costs Rs 14.82 lakh, and the V Diesel is priced at Rs 15.32 lakh.

The Honda City has evolved over the number of years from being a sporty sedan to a much more classy and premium-looking car. The fifth generation of Honda City also continues the trend. The front fascia gets chrome elements, the chrome grille, chrome garnish, chrome door handles. The car resembles a lot with other Honda siblings Amaze and Civic. Even the base variant of the car gets projector headlamps with integrated DRLs, and ORVM integrated turn indicators. The side profiles of the City carry the same look across all variants. The rear end of the car gets a set of newly designed LED tail lamps, a high mount stop lamp, and turn indicators. The diamond-cut alloy wheels also add an upmarket look to this car.
The premium and upmarket feel are continued in its interiors as well. The beige interiors give a roomy feel to the car’s cabin. The seats are very comfortable and provide ample support during long drives. The rear seats get a foldable armrest with cup holders. The second row gets AC vents with blower control and charging ports.
The City is a feature-loaded sedan. The car gets features like automatic climate control, connected car technology, seven-inch touchscreen infotainment, engine start-stop push-button, multi-view rear camera with guidelines, steering mounted controls, and an eight-speaker premium sound system.
The Honda City has scored a five-star safety rating at the ASEAN NCAP testing. Other safety features of the car include four airbags, ABS with EBD, an electronic stability program (ESP), a traction control system (TCS), and hill-hold control.
The base variant of Honda City gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 119bhp and 145Nm of torque mated to a manual gearbox. The engine of this car is very refined and responsive. The car is easy to drive around the city and provides enough stability while driving on highways as well.
