The result means that Tottenham have won five and lost five of their opening 10 Premier League games, and have won just two in their last seven following a great start to the season, seeing them slip to eighth place in the Premier League.
Now, as per the reliable Matt Law of The Telegraph, AJ Tracey and co. may have got their wish. Law reports that Nuno “could be sacked” after the 3-0 defeat “prompted talks within spurs over Nuno’s future”.

Should he depart, it remains to be seen just who Spurs could entice to take the job after their long and publicised failure to find a new manager in the summer, leading them to eventually settle on the former Wolves man. However, given the toxicity around the club, anyone else may be in a better position to handle the role.
