As his side beat a hapless Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 on their own turf, Frenchman Paul Pogba was a notable onlooker.
The World Cup winner was beginning his three match-ban, which he picked up after he was sent off against Liverpool last weekend for a high challenge on Naby Keita.

Pogba will also miss games against Manchester City and Watford as a result of the straight red, and may well struggle to find a place back in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s new-look 5-2-1-2 formation, which saw Scott McTominay and Fred occupy the central roles.
And now, as per reports coming out of Italy, Paul Pogba could be leaving Manchester United on a free next summer. The Frenchman is out of contract in 2022, and despite suggestions that a new deal could be forthcoming, has allegedly shut the door to the idea.
🗞 Paul Pogba will not renew his contract with Man Utd and wants to join Juventus.

Instead, the World Cup winner is looking to rejoin Juventus, where he played some of his best football, and challenge himself in the Serie A once more with the Turin side. Whether they will be able to free up space for him in the squad however, is another matter.
At present, Juve are flush with players in that role, with Adrien Rabiot, Aaron Ramsey, Arthur, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Manuel Locatelli all able to be called upon by Max Allegri.
Would Pogba be able to work his way back into the side?
