Brighton and Hove Albion fought back from 2 goals down to hold Liverpool to a 2-2 draw in front of the Kop, and ensure that the Reds lost ground in the title race with Chelsea.
A thunderbolt from Enock Mwepu brought Brighton back into the game, with Liverpool having previously taken a 2-0 lead courtesy of goals from Sadio Mane and Jordan Henderson.

After half time, however, it was Leandro Trossard’s turn to chip in, drawing the scores level. The Seaside outfit could have won it too, having a goal ruled out for offside int he dying stages, but nonetheless took another valuable point in their chase for survival.
For Liverpool, the damage was mitigated somewhat by the fact that Manchester City were bested by Crystal Palace, meaning that Klopp’s side remain in 2nd place, albeit now three points off Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea.
After the encounter, it was one man in particular who stood out to the Liverpool fanbase in the form of left-back Andy Robertson. Many took to Twitter to point out the possibility of rotation, with Konstantinos Tsimikas waiting in the wings.
Not being ‘reactionary’ or anything but i feel like tsimikas deserves a run of some games or in rotation for games like this one. It would give Robbo a rest and also show him that he has proper competition given that tsimikas performs as well as he has this season

Andy Robertson was so poor again yesterday. Think it’s time Tsimikas gets a run of games.
Kostas has started 5 games this season and we have kept 5 clean sheets in those games, plus Tsimikas has more assists than Robbo and always looks an attacking threat with his crosses. #LFC

Not the best performance from Robertson again today.
With 5 clean sheets in 5 starts, along with 2 assists, is it time Kostas Tsimikas got a run in the side? pic.twitter.com/WSzXuh5sWV

Is it time to give Kostas Tsimikas a run of games? Robertson hasn’t been at the races this season.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but wanting Tsimikas to get game time and wanting to rest Robbo who’s been off form, which is fine because the man has barely had any rest since joining the club, does not mean you don’t rate Robbo. Rotational football works, just accept it.

Should Robbo take a well-earned rest against Atletico?
