Grealish latest
The headline news in the footballing world over the last 24 hours or so has been Manchester City’s interest in Jack Grealish.
It has been suggested that the Citizens have made a 100 million pound offer for the Aston Villa captain:

And Fabrizio Roman also provided an update on the situation in the early hours of Saturday.
Romano reports that City are pushing to complete the Grealish deal ‘in the next few days’ with a medical ready if a total agreement can be reached with Villa.
Perhaps most importantly though, it is claimed a deadline agreement has been set within the next week for a deal, or Grealish will sign a new contract with Villa.

Man City interested in Moriba
Elsewhere, Man City have once again been linked with Barcelona prospect, Ilaix Moriba.
The Sky Blues saw themselves linked earlier this month following struggles on the part of Barca to tie the 18-year-old down to a new contract, with both Chelsea and City believed to be offering a fairly high salary:
The Premier League clubs are said to be willing to offer the 18 year old midfielder a six million euro salary a year, double what he earns at Barca, and City are the more insistent.
Now, a fresh update from Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, as cited by Sport Witness, has been forthcoming.
It is claimed that Barca offered Moriba a new contract on Wednesday but have not received a response.
The report goes on to explain that Pep Guardiola’s side would be willing to push hard for Moriba’s signing.
Man City funds boost
Finally, Man City look set for a funds boost after Ivan Ilic joined Hellas Verona for a fee believed to be around 7.5 million euros:
