Position: Left-winger/attacking midfielder

Mikkel Damsgaard may be one of the lesser-known players in our list but is certainly a player that could become a household name in the not too distant future.

Despite only having won two international caps, he’s already scored two goals for his country.

Although, both of these were scored in March’s 8-0 demolition of Moldova in World Cup Qualifying.

For his club, Samdpria, Damsgaard has managed two goals and four assists in Serie A this season.

This may not look a lot, considering he made 35 appearances, but that added up to a total of just 1,766 minutes, with 11 of those appearances being for 20 minutes or less.

He’s unlikely to be in Kasper Hjulmand’s starting XI this summer but could have a key role to play off the bench for Denmark.
